Shagny thak elmohaya

صاحب الطلّة البهيّة

The one with the beautiful appearance

Saheb eltala albaheya

خلته بدرٍ عليّا

I thought it was a full moon, high in the sky

Khlta badrin aliya

أو ضيا شمس الضحيّة

Or the light of the midday sun

Aw dhiya shams elthihiya

ذاع صيته مليّا

His fame spread far and wide

Tha’e setah meliya

يطرب أسماع البريّة

Delights the ears of all people

Yatrib asma’ elbariya

عزيزًا عفيفًا زكيّا

Noble, chaste, and tasteful

Azeezin afeefin zakiya

ما دنا صوب الدنيّة

He doesn't approach the lower things

Madna soob eldinya

يعتلي فوق الثريّا

He rises above the stars

Ya’tely fog elthuraya

إن مست أطرافه ثريّة

Even if the ends of his hands touch wealth

En misat atrafah threyah

كريمًا حليماً سخيّا

Generous, gentle, and generous

Kreemin hleemin s’kheya

صاحب الكفّ النديّة

The one with the moist hand

Saheb elkaf elndiya

نديمًا غريمًا وفيّا

A companion, a rival, and loyal

Ndeemin ghreemin w’feya

خفيف الروح الرضيّة

Light-hearted and contented

Khfeef elrooh elrdiya

لك فؤادي نجيّا

My heart is dedicated to you

Lek foady njeya

ما خفى عنك الهفيّة

Nothing of my feelings is hidden from you

Makhfa ank el hefiya

في الأمور الدنيويّة

In worldly matters

Fel omor eldenya-wiya

لك وفاءٌ مادمتُ حيّا

I am loyal to you as long as I live

بالمودّة وحسن نيّة

With affection and good intentions
