الله يا دار زايد كيف محلاها

Allah (God), O land of Zayed how beautiful it is

Allah ya dar Zayed kaif ma ahlaha

يا ناس حلوه وقلبي مغرم فيها

O people, it’s beautiful, and my heart is in love with it

Ya nas helwa weh galby moghramin feha

كن القمر يوم يظهر من محياها

It’s like the moon appears from her face

Kan al gamar yom yath’her men mehayaha

هي غاية الحسن يسلم كف بانيها

She is the epitome of beauty, may the builder’s hand be blessed

He ghayat al hosn yesalam kaf baneha

هي جنه الارض رب العرش سواها

She is the paradise on earth, the Lord of the Throne (God) made her

He janat el ard rab al arsh sawaha

من ضاق صدره تونس في اراضيها

Whoever’s chest is tight, finds happiness in her lands

Men dag sadrah towanas fe aradeha

تسبي النواظر من اولها الي اقصاها

It captivates the eyes from its beginning to its farthest reaches

Tasbi el nawazer men awalha ela agsaha

حلوه وزايد الي اكثر محليها

She is beautiful, and Zayed adds even more charm to her

Helwa weh Zayed ely akthar mehaleeha

العمر غالي ولكن نقول يفداها

Our years are precious, but we say it’s a gift for her

Al omr ghaly laken ngol yefdaha

نفدي الذي معتلي من فوق كرسيها

We gift it to the one who sits upon her throne

Nafde elthy mutali men fog kurseha

شوفو زعيم حضنها كيف خلاها

Look at the leader who embraced her, how he has made her

Shofo za’eemin hethanha kaif khalaha

احلى واغلى من الدنيا وما فيها

More beautiful and precious than the world and all that’s in it

Ahla weh aghla min eldonya weh ma feha
